Multi-million Dollar Recovery

A woman from Pittsburgh who had a previous C-section and was now pregnant for a second time was planning on a vaginal delivery. Women who have a history of cesarean are at greater risk for a uterine rupture during a vaginal delivery since there is an incision on the wall of the uterus from the previous cesarean. Therefore, obstetricians need to be “on the lookout” for any sudden problems during labor since it might signal a ruptured uterus.
